Account Executive

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage full sales cycle from lead creation to sale
  • Develop and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
  • Deliver sales presentations, provide insightful technical answers, and recommend creative solutions
  • Develop professional relationships with prospects, customers, and referral partners
  • Expedite the sales cycle by demonstrating superior knowledge of product offerings
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation Team to create and execute targeted campaigns
  • Coordinate and actively participate in contract negotiations
  • Act as representative at industry conferences and association meetings
  • Exceed sales quotas and objectives
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and monthly sales
  • Collect and articulate customer feedback to Engineering Team

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience (SaaS preferred)
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Fluent in major business software applications (Google Apps, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Relevant small business and experience - employee benefits a plus
  • Proven "hunter" background with a track record of continually exceeding quota targets
  • Experience building a sales pipeline and positioning business to close
  • Excellent presentation skills, business writing skills and oral communication skills
